Ewart is currently the Chief Executive at Apollo Asset Management Company. He has over two decades’ experience in the capital markets having started out his career as an actuarial consultant with Hymans Robertson (now Zamara) before transitioning into investment banking working with African Alliance, Kestrel Capital, Dry Associates, and the Old Mutual in various capacities.
He is currently a Director at the Kenya Association of Stockbrokers and Investment Banks (KASIB) and a member of the Fund Managers’ Association (FMA) where he chairs the Alternative Investments Committee. In addition, he sits on the Steering Committee of the Kenya Pension Funds Investment Consortium (KEPFIC) tasked with pushing the alternatives investment agenda within the retirement benefits industry.
Besides dedicating his time to the capital markets, he is actively involved in mentoring and supporting young Kenyan entrepreneurs and university students.
